Industry innovators in fashion design and technology, JETS Digital Printing have announced an exciting collaboration with Australian Indigenous Fashion Week (AIFW) featuring event ambassador Samantha Harris and a promising selection of emerging designers.


The backbone of JETS Digital Printing and AIFW’s collaboration has been the commitment over the past 12 months to the emerging talent in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander fashion designer community. Through sharing knowledge, resources and expertise in technology, digital printing and design philosophies, JETS Digital Printing has endeavored to collaborate and accelerate the careers of budding fashion designers.


“Supporting the Australian Indigenous Fashion Week has been a tremendously rewarding project. The JETS Digital Printing team has engaged one-on-one with talented emerging designers, with an end goal of fast-tracking their careers. 


Personally mentoring and supporting three of the 18 designers, providing digital textile printing services and participating in the AIFW fundraiser event are just a taste of how JETS Digital Printing have supported the AIFW”, said Stephen Carter, JETS Digital Printing Project Manager.


AIFW ambassador Samantha Harris has been actively involved in the promotional activities leading up to fashion week, which also included a national model search and a selection of professional talent.
