BigPond signs on as AIMIA major supporter for 2005

Australia's peak national industry body representing the Interactive Media sector welcomes back digital content powerhouse

SYDNEY,18 January 2005 - The Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA), charged with representing the Interactive Media and Digital Content sectors, has announced the support of BigPond as a Gold Patron for 2005.
"With BigPond working with the Interactive Media industry at so many levels, patronage of AIMIA allows it to unify its presence in the market at a "whole of industry" level," said AIMIA CEO, John Butterworth. "This patronage builds upon BigPond's support for AIMIA during 2004, and highlights its support for the overall sector."

As a Gold Sponsor, BigPond will take a very active role in supporting and shaping the industry in conjunction with AIMIA. It will attend the 11th Annual AIMIA Awards - the longest running interactive media awards in Australia - where it will present the Cross-Platform Content/Content Integration category. The Awards will be held in Sydney on February 4.
