Aviation Australia and University of Southern Queensland Announce Lift Off For New Aviation Degree

Aviation Australia has joined forces with the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) to launch a new management degree tailor made for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. 

The new Bachelor of Business (Aircraft Maintenance Management) qualification is the result of close collaboration between Aviation Australia and USQ to address industry requirements for additional supervisory and management expertise for aviation professionals.

The USQ degree is open to Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering graduates, who are is available either totally online, on campus in Toowoomba, or a combination of the modes..

Andrew Rankin, Aviation Australia’s General Manager Strategy and Business said “This program strengthens Aviation Australia’s position in the international market and in particular South East Asia, with the provision of a superior higher education pathway and product. The program is also available to our domestic students who want to move to into management with a university education.”

Graduates will emerge with two qualifications – a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics) or a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical) issued by Aviation Australia, and a Bachelor of Business (Aircraft Maintenance Management) issued by USQ.
