Oakton Appoints New Country Manager for its Offshore Indian Operations

Leading Australian consulting and technology firm, Oakton [ASX:OKN] has announced the appointment of Subhash Dubey as Country Manager for Oakton GTSC-I India in Hyderabad.

Mr. Dubey joined Oakton in February 2014 and has been working with its executive team through the transition process. He takes over the day-to-day responsibilities of Indian operations from Dennis Papakyriakopoulos after he completed five years in the role of Vice President. Mr. Papakyriakopoulos is now taking on a new Executive role within Oakton as Executive General Manager of Group Services and will remain a Director of Oakton’s Indian subsidiary.

Mr. Dubey brings over 17 years of rich and diversified experience in account management, client relationship, transition management, program management, strategic consulting, contract negotiation, risk management, scope management and quality management. He has worked across the insurance, healthcare, retail, travel, hospitality and life sciences sectors, and also in the telecoms billing domain. He has managed and delivered projects across diverse technologies including .Net, Mainframes, DWH, SharePoint, Hyperion and Oracle Financial. 

In his last role he was based in the US as an Account Director at Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation managing a portfolio of $40 Million plus with executive responsibilities for a Fortune 500 healthcare company across application development, BPO and infrastructure services. In his previous roles, Subhash was associated with technologies from Mphasis BFL, IBM and HCL.
