Hard To Find Gifts This Mother's Day

Announcement posted by Pulse PR 05 May 2014

Forget the toaster kids, it seems modern Mums are seeking personalised and hard to find gifts this Mother’s Day.

Joleigh Stapleton, curator of retail website Independent Designer’s Emporium advised that handcrafted and more sentimental gifts were in higher demand this year.

“Since the Independent Designers Emporium launched earlier this year, we’ve really noticed a trend for orders that have a personalised touch or are from a limited edition range.

“Quality and quirkiness seem to be preferred by Mum’s at the moment rather than the more commonly seen gifts of previous years.

“Definitely no toasters or mops for the modern Mum!”

Instead Joleigh is advising last minute shoppers to seek out products that Mum will find meaningful. Her top tips include personalised jewellery or products tailored to suit your Mum’s hobbies like gardening or reading.

“To me a hard to find gift is one that isn’t commercially or mass produced.  A truly unique and meaningful gift is personal and handpicked to suit your Mum’s interests and personality.
