Fantastic Noodles 'The Perfect Groove" competition expected to strike a chord

With gaming and music being the staple diet of youth culture, Fantastic Noodles has blended the two with its super cool new ‘Perfect Groove’ style gaming competition.

The recently released online game – which is available through the Fantastic Noodles Facebook page – invites players to put their rhythmic skills to the test by hitting the right chords at the right time by drumming on Noodle cups as they slide down neon technicoloured guitar strings.

Those who show timing agility and drumming prowess will earn a place on the leader board and will be in the running for a number of great prizes.

Entrants can double their score and increase their chance of winning by buying any Fantastic Noodles product and submitting the receipt number from any retailer when they finish the game.

The competition, which runs for an 8-week period until Tuesday, 5 August 2014, is being supported by a mix of TV and online advertising as well as point-of-sale material.

Entrants can play "The Perfect Groove" game on a desktop computer, using a keyboard as the game controller; on a desktop computer, using a synced mobile phone as the game controller; or on a mobile phone or tablet.

Fantastic Snacks has an uncompromised commitment to making snacks that Taste Fantastic, and while people of all ages eat cup noodles, it is young men aged 15 to 30 that are the biggest consumers – and ‘The Perfect Groove’ is quickly proving a popular online challenge.

The top three competitors on the leader board will pick up a weekly prize, with the first prize winner being able to choose between an Electric Guitar, DJ pack or Sonos speaker. Second place has the choice of an ITunes voucher or Spotify. All top three winners get a limited edition Fantastic t-shirt and a carton of noodles to enjoy.

In addition to bragging rights, the competition’s overall main prize winner gets a 55 inch HD LED 3D TV, home theatre system, PS4 console and accessories, Sony tablet, t-shirt and a carton of noodles.

This is the latest example of Fantastic Snacks engaging in consumers in an innovative way, having previously seen success through its award-winning Pimp-My-Kettle campaign, the Intense Wave surfing campaign and most recently with the introduction of the Fantastic Chicken.
