Leading Client Reporting Solution Provider Equipos Changes Name to SimCorp Coric

Announcement posted by LEWIS Global Communications 19 Jun 2014

SimCorp Coric is the new name for best-in-class client communications and client reporting
SimCorp, a leading provider of investment management solutions and services for the global financial services industry, today announced that the legal name of Equipos – recently acquired by SimCorp – is now SimCorp Coric. The firm’s name has changed to SimCorp Coric Incorporated in North America and SimCorp Coric Limited in the UK.

The firm’s mainstay solution, SimCorp Coric Client Communications (formerly Equipos Coric Client Communications), is a market-leading, award-winning software solution that empowers private wealth and institutional asset management firms to enhance client service, increase operational efficiency and enrich client experience through the automated production of personalized client reports, pitchbooks, client meeting packs, and other client communications. Marketed as a stand-alone solution, SimCorp Coric Client Communications is system-independent and integrates seamlessly with any investment management platform, enabling users to extract data from any source.

SimCorp Coric Client Communications is also embedded in Report Book Manager, the client reporting management solution that is fully integrated with SimCorp Dimension, SimCorp’s investment management solution, allowing SimCorp Dimension users to easily create and modify client reports, and present increasingly complex portfolio data quickly and cost-effectively.

SimCorp Coric Web Reporter (formerly Equipos Coric Web Reporter) is the self-service, online reporting portal, used in combination with SimCorp Coric Client Communications to deliver anytime, anywhere access for clients, relationship managers, and advisors.

“We warmly welcome our new colleagues into the SimCorp Group”, says Georg Hetrodt, chief technology officer at SimCorp. “Having worked with the team for the past 10 years, we are very impressed with their skills and capabilities within reporting. The team has built an impressive reputation with the Coric name over many years, so it was logical to retain this brand equity moving forward. With the acquisition, our clients will enjoy tighter integration of SimCorp Coric into the SimCorp Dimension portfolio of solutions. In turn, SimCorp Coric’s existing clients will benefit from stable and substantial investments in R&D, as well as the considerable service and support resources that SimCorp has to offer.”

Equipos was acquired by SimCorp effective as of March 1st, 2014. Prior to this date SimCorp held 20% of the shares in the company. For more information on the acquisition, please see SimCorp’s company announcement of February 25th, 2014 and press release of the same date.
