Leading customer-owned financial institution Beyond Bank Australia continues to deliver on its commitment to the Whyalla community with funding and volunteering support for the Whyalla Pink Spirits.

The Whyalla Pink Spirits, who formed in 2011, work tirelessly in the community supporting people who have been affected by cancer.  One of the many projects they are working on is “Hair to Help” which is a wig library at the Cancer and Wellness Centre at the Whyalla Hospital.

Whyalla Pink Spirits, President Raelene Williams said we have a long partnership with Beyond Bank Australia and since opening our Community Reward Account, we have received bonus payments which will provide additional fundraising opportunities for us.

“We are delighted with the relationship we have with Beyond Bank Australia - it’s great to partner with organisations that really do care about our community.”

“We would like to encourage our supporters and the wider community to also consider opening a Community Reward Account with Beyond Bank and nominating Whyalla Pink Spirits as the beneficiary.  The more account we have linked to us, the more opportunity we have to benefit via the yearly ‘community bonus’ payment”, said Mrs Williams.

The Beyond Bank Australia Community Reward Account is a high-interest earning account with a percentage of the balance donated by the bank to the account-holder’s nominated local charity, community group or not-for-profit organisation.

The Beyond Bank Australia Community Reward Account was launched 12 years ago.  It currently has more than 160 local charities, community groups and not-for-profits organisation involved, and has distributed more than $1.6 million back to the community.
