I Quit Sugar appoints new editor

Announcement posted by IQuitSugar.com 11 Jul 2014

Sarah Wilson’s I Quit Sugar business has kicked off the new financial year with a bang, appointing editor Kate Gibbs to their growing team.

Kate will manage content development for IQuitSugar.com, a health and wellness hub for information on quitting sugar and the I Quit Sugar 8-Week Program, a complete online wellness course designed to help people quit sugar for good.

Kate has over a decade’s worth of editorial and journalism experience having started her career as a journalist at London’s Evening Standard newspaper. Most recently she has written extensively for Sunday Style magazine, The Sydney Morning Herald (Good Food & Traveller), JamieOliver.com and The Wall Street Journal. A lover of healthy and nutritious food, Kate has also penned two cookbooks and countless recipes for Sunday Life magazine, Good Food in The Sydney Morning Herald and Feast magazine, among others.

"I'm delighted to join the I Quit Sugar team as editor,” Kate said. “I'm a huge supporter of conscious, healthy eating, and I look forward to joining a team that shows people how simple, accessible and exciting good food can be."

Sarah Wilson added:

“We are thrilled to welcome Kate Gibbs to our ever-growing I Quit Sugar family. Kate will be a wonderful addition to our team and with her wealth of experience she will be sure to add a whole new dimension to the business.”

IQuitSugar.com and the I Quit Sugar 8-Week Program were developed by Sarah Wilson following her own experience in quitting sugar to combat auto-immune disease, and her research into the effects of excess fructose.
