Teknowledge Unveils The First Look Of New Social Networking App

Announcement posted by Teknowledge software 12 Jul 2014

‘Talk Nah’, an innovative social media and instant messaging-based mobile application, was unveiled by Teknowledge Mobile Studio this week. A media conference was convened, where the chief features and functionality of the app were highlighted.

Buoyed by the positive response garnered by ‘Real Talk’, Teknowledge Software has come up with yet another instant messaging application. This one is named ‘Talk Nah’ - and is expected to add some extra fun to mobile chatting.

Interacting with press members, the CEO of the mobile apps company, Mr Hussain Fakhruddin, explained that it was his vision to take chat applications beyond G-talk, Facebook and Whatsapp. That’s precisely why he included several innovative features in ‘Talk Nah’ - so that it could stand out in the thousands of similar apps at iTunes. Mr. Fakhruddin assured everybody present at the conference that the new app has been developed as per the quality standards Teknowledge is well-known for.

A three-member team of mobile app developers, who were in charge of creating ‘Talk Nah’, organized a brief demo session of the app next. It was pointed out how users had to create a profile for themselves - and select their country, to start networking with friends. The  interface, settings and control options were explained in detail. When the app finally hits the stores (which should be within the next ten days), early users won’t face any confusions.

The key highlight of ‘Talk Nah’, as highlighted by Mr. Fakhruddin and his team, was the option to post comments/replies on updates shared by friends. All the updates would appear on the wall of the user (just like Facebook), and people can simply select any post and comment on it - without revealing his/her identity. When asked what the term ‘Bodow!’ (present below every post) signified, Mr. Fakhruddin had a twinkle in his eyes as he replied that the funky word was similar to the ‘Like’ button on Facebook. It’s just for some extra zip!

It had taken two months and a bit for the mobile application development company to ready the final version of ‘Talk Nah’. Since the app-concept is not like anything that has been done before, the developers were extra-meticulous while preparing the wireframes and beta-prototypes. App testing for ‘Talk Nah’ was done on devices (focus group) as well as on the cloud network. Mr. Fakhruddin is confident that the application would get quickly approved at iTunes, and would get featured in the list of featured apps as well.

As has been the policy of Teknowledge over the years, user-friendliness takes centerstage in the ‘Talk Nah’ app too. The mobile app development team showcased the manner in which posts could be stored under the ‘Favourites’ section. The app has a built-in virtual keyboard too, making typing messages/comments an absolute breeze. The UI/UX designing team has come up with a visually arresting splash screen and layout for the app. There will be in-app advertising, but the first look suggested that ads won’t interfere with user-experience on the ‘Talk Nah’ platform.

A brief Q&A session was organized after the unveiling of the app. Mr. Fakhruddin and two of his senior colleagues took questions from the audience, about ‘Talk Nah’s features in particular, and the growing importance of mobile apps in general. The CEO of Teknowledge also called out to users, to share their feedback and opinions about ‘Talk Nah’, on the company’s Facebook page. He reiterated a fair few times that regular upgrades will be released for the app.

With more than 600 apps now in its kitty, it’s difficult to consider that Teknowledge will not taste success yet again with ‘Talk Nah’. Innovation has always been a hallmark of the mobile app development techniques adopted by the company - and this one does promise a whiff of freshness to social networking activities.
