HYBRIS NAMED AS A STRONG PERFORMER AMONG DIGITAL EXPERIENCE DELIVERY PLATFORM VENDORS BY GLOBAL INDEPENDENT RESEARCH FIRM

Announcement posted by Bench PR 29 Jul 2014

Sydney, 29 July 2014 – hybris Software, an SAP company and the world’s fastest-growing commerce platform provider, today announced that it has been named a strong performer in Forrester Research, Inc.’s Wave report entitled: The Forrester Wave™: Digital Experience Delivery Platforms, Q3 2014”, dated 22 July 2014

In the report, Forrester names hybris among “pioneers” in digital experience delivery, and goes on to state: “hybris…has been a dominant force in the eCommerce space for many years and complements this base with solid functionality across other digital experience areas, including web content management (WCM), product information management (PIM), analytics, and testing and optimisation… hybris has a particularly strong vision, which includes optimising the entire customer journey, not just digital, and integrating internal and external tools.  We particularly liked the attention paid to internal business processes (a natural strength of commerce vendors when compared with content vendors), not just external experiences.” The report also states: “the potential to integrate hybris with SAP’s HANA could give the vendor the potential to aggregate DX data from multiple sources and serve hyper-personalised experiences.”

According to the Forrester report; “A decade ago, companies engaged in a “battle for eyeballs”, spending lots of money driving undifferentiated traffic to their websites under the belief that more was better. Today, companies focus on creating and delivering relevant, cross-channel, contextual experiences critical to the visitorat that moment of their customer journey. This isn’t just about marketing; it’s about supporting the entire customer life cycle in a digitally enabled way…integrated, digital experience delivery products built on web content management (WCM) and/or eCommerce foundations aim to support companies in pursuit of unified, contextual digital experiences.”

“Today companies are looking for an end-to-end customer engagement solution to drive 1:1 customer interactions across any channel and through the whole customer lifecycle,” said Ariel Lüdi, CEO of hybris. “No other company than SAP can provide an end-to-end customer engagement and commerce solution that unifies commerce, marketing, customer service and sales force automation.”

hybris Commerce Suite is a best-in-class solution, helping businesses to present a single view and unified buying experience to all of their customers. It is also the only enterprise commerce suite incorporating commerce for web, mobile and in-store, for both B2C and B2B, including powerful search and merchandising, master data management (MDM), order management, and WCM. hybris Commerce Suite is available in any deployment option, on-premise, hosted or on-demand in the cloud, perpetual license, and pay for usage or revenue share.
