Teks Mobile Sets Sights On Becoming The Top Mobile Agency In Australia

Announcement posted by Teknowledge software 28 Aug 2014

Teks Mobile Australia is rapidly growing in stature, as a reliable mobile app company. Under the able leadership of Ms. Amber Blumanis, the company looks poised for more professional glory in the foreseeable future.

With ‘Stopover’, Teks Mobile Australia is off to a dream start Down Under. The COO of the company, Ms. Amber Blumanis, is buoyed by the encouraging words of Steve Wozniak and Richard Branson (at the Talent Unleashed Awards) - and is confident of taking her company to greater heights over time. Her long-run goal is set - she wishes to see Teks Mobile as the leading mobile app development company in Australia.

Ms. Blumanis is very much aware that the success of one iPhone app does not guarantee sustained popularity of a company. That’s precisely why she is not resting on her already considerable professional laurels. Along with business partner Mr. Hussain Fakhruddin - the CEO of Teknowledge Software, India - she is already working on the Android version of ‘Stopover’. It is expected to launch at Google Play Store within 3-5 weeks.

The biggest asset of any good mobile app company is its team of developers/coders and graphic designers. While admitting that Teks Mobile Australia cannot yet be called a ‘big’ company (it currently has 60-odd employees), Ms. Blumanis has provided a sneak peek into her plans for expanding the manpower resources. Apart from advertisements on the website (teksmobile.com.au) and the major job portals in Australia, the company will also be conducting a series of computer programming competitions - across various cities. According to Ms. Blumanis, this would help in unearthing the best talents, many of whom would be recruited as full-time mobile app developers.

Although the young Aussie entrepreneur had initially envisioned Teks Mobile as an iPhone app development company in Sydney only, the craze over ‘Stopover’ has made her more ambitious. She has already started a separate Android department at her company. To start off with, Teks Mobile Australia would be promoting the Android apps of Teknowledge Software Down Under (apart from, of course, the Android version of ‘Stopover’). By the end of 2015, Ms. Blumanis plans to have at least 100 new Android applications. A pretty realistic target, one must say!

For the time-being, Teks is not planning to develop apps for the Blackberry or the Windows platforms. The importance of cross-platform app development services is not lost on Ms. Blumanis though. She is open to starting work on these two platforms, if and when the latter start showing signs of regaining their popularity.

The chief challenge facing Teks Mobile at present is the intense competition posed by the already existing mobile app companies in Australia. To gradually move ahead, Ms. Blumanis knows that there are no shortcuts. Instead, she expressed her belief that the business model, operational policies, and overall efficiency of Teks Mobile Australia will help it stand out from its professional rivals. Right from providing timely, free app quotes and creating wireframes and mockups, to thorough mobile app testing and helping it get approved at stores - the company would provide end-to-end support to clients. As Ms. Blumanis was quick to point out, a lot of satisfied customers meant plenty of positive word-of-mouth publicity - and that always works in favor of any company!

Although Ms. Blumanis will have her hands full with management-related responsibilities, she will be taking time out from her busy schedule to train the new developers at Teks Mobile Australia. She has started conducting weekly brainstorming sessions - which would be a great source for the generation for new and engaging app ideas. The technical training is being provided by a senior app developer, and Ms. Blumanis is monitoring the progress of each newbie carefully.

Teks Mobile Australia is also likely to benefit from the lofty reputation and goodwill that its Indian chapter, Teknowledge Software, already enjoys in the international markets. The latter has well over 600 apps in its portfolio, and professionals from the two branches will be collaborating, to take the Australian branch forward. If Ms. Blumanis’ company manages to match up to the quality parameters Teknowledge Software has set - there is no reason why her career as a mobile apps architect won’t go places.
