Local Australian Developer selected to deliver new Telstra App for Android

Seventh Beam, a Fitzroy-based Mobile Application Development company, has been selected to partner with Telstra to deliver the new Telstra Application for Android. The newly branded Telstra App replaces the current TelstraOne client on most in-market and upcoming Android handsets across the Telstra range from 1 September, 2014.

The new application is a native Android client, with a range of improvements and new features designed to provide a superior customer experience to existing and future Telstra customers. The client has been built leveraging the latest features of the Android platform, while ensuring backwards compatibility for older devices. Customers should expect to see an updated, modern user experience, notable improvements in performance and better stability across the new client.

The addition of on-device data usage monitoring to compliment Telstra's usage reporting, to enable post-paid customers to better understand, monitor and manage their data usage 

Telstra Recommends – a combined feed of Telstra and 3rd party applications and services carefully curated to showcase the best application experiences on your device
