Sydney, Australia, 2nd October 2014. Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull is the keynote speaker in the first session of a free forum for Australia’s learning and HR professionals this November.

‘Learning to Succeed,’ being staged by Seertech Solutions, Australia’s global learning management solutions provider, will be held at Sydney’s Park Hyatt Hotel on November 12 and 13th. An impressive line-up of speakers will address the changing nature of the corporate learning space, including how technology and learning theory can significantly improve business outcomes.

Paul Hardwck, Seertech’s CEO, says it is becoming recognised that in today’s competitive environment, all employees must not only be aligned to the company’s strategic objectives but competent in how to perform their role.  “The secret to achieving this is ensuring you have an effective way to communicate, target and assess learning outcomes and behaviour in all areas of the business.  We will discuss and examine how Seertech Solutions award winning philosophy and service can be used by engaged customers to create safer workplaces, more profits and competitive advantage.

Karin Hawkins, regional director of the NeuroLeadership Institute, will demonstrate recent findings on how our brain receives information, whilst Brad Kolar, author of The Brain Advantage, will talk about the importance of data in developing effective learning programs.  The event will also feature discussions on the common pitfalls for companies deploying learning technologies, and how to avoid them.

The first day of ‘Learning to Succeed’ is open to anybody involved in professional learning development, whether in HR, Training & Development, IT or as the manager with a large workforce.

The second day is restricted to Seertech’s existing customers, which include many substantial local and international corporations, such as Downer EDI Mining, Optus, Virgin Australia, Ingersoll Rand and Suncorp.
