Epson Displays Newly Launched, Cutting Edge EH-TW6600W Home Cinema 3LCD Projector and more at Australian Audio & AV Show

Epson Australia will be displaying its new, high-quality home cinema 3LCD projector, the EH-TW6600W, at the Australian Audio & AV Show in Melbourne. The projector boasts enhanced features and provides bright and colourful big-screen home entertainment.

The new EH-TW6600W home cinema projector ($2,949 inc. GST) is ideal for big-screen entertainment fans who want to watch the latest Full HD content, as well as newcomers to the home cinema market. This new high-quality, great value projector is perfect for home cinema, sports and gaming, offering all the features of a high-end projector at an affordable price. The 1080p projector delivers crisp, smooth lifelike images with superb brightness and 2D and 3D definition, while also achieving an equally high White and Colour Light Output, with seven accurate colour modes and auto colour optimiser. Easy to use and to install, with lens shift for comfortable set up in any room, even inexperienced users can enjoy their full benefits directly after purchase. Wireless Full HD pictures

The WirelessHD technology cuts out the need for HDMI cables between the projector and WiHD devices. Also, Epson's WiHD transmitter includes five HDMI inputs for maximum versatility.

The EH-TW6600W Full HD projector uses 3LCD technology and 2,500 lumens brightness with equally high White and Colour Light Output to ensure vivid colours with no rainbow effect, while the 70,000:1 contrast ratio delivers deep blacks and highly detailed images in dark scenes.

Easy positioning

With wide vertical and horizontal lens shift, it's easy to position the EH-TW6600W off-centre to a screen, creating a precisely sized image, with no distortion or stretching. Combined with a 1.6x zoom lens and a compact design, it makes it incredibility simple to set up in any environment. Integrated 20W stereo speakers allow users to connect to any external system, while all audio can easily be sent to a sound system using dedicated outputs.

Advanced image technologies

Able to convert 2D video to 3D for maximum versatility, the EH-TW6600W includes seven colour modes – including two especially for 3D – and two pairs of RF 3D glasses. By sensing the ambient light, the auto colour optimiser can automatically identify the best setting and Epson’s enhanced Super Resolution ensures both 2D and 3D video looks as sharp and crisp as possible.

Also launching the week of the Australian Audio & AV Show will be Epson’s newEH-TW570 projector. The EH-TW570 provides the latest 720p HD-ready 3LCD technology to watch and play 2D and 3D content and is the brightest projector in Epson’s home cinema range with 3,000 lumens and equally high White & Colour Light Output. Also on display at the Australian Audio & AV Show alongside the new EH-TW6600W will be Epson’s EH-TW9200W and EH-TW5200 home theatre projectors.

The easy-to-use, wireless EH-TW9200W ($3,999 inc. GST) provides a true cinematic experience at home. With the ability to stream Full HD 1080p content in seconds thanks to Wireless HDMI, the images it produces are rich and real with 2,400 lumens of colour brightness and 2,400 lumens of white brightness. The EH-TW9200W also produces incredible detail as a result of a contrast ratio up to 600,000:1. With a simple setup, horizontal and vertical lens shift and 2.1x zoom the EH-TW9200W also boasts THX display certification for natural textures and a film-like movie experience.

Epson’s EH-TW5200 easily enables viewers to enjoy Full HD 1080p performance at home in 2D or 3D and at $1,149 inc. GST, represents excellent value for money. Images are always rich and brilliant with 2,000 lumens of colour brightness and 2,000 lumens of white brightness and images can be projected up to 300" on any wall or screen without distortion. With easy setup and built-in sound the EH-TW5200 is straightforward and simple to operate. That said the EH-TW5200 comes with two HDMI ports and MHL connectivity which turns the projector into a smart display, providing instant access to movies, videos and games from MHL-enabled smartphones and tablets.
