In front of a cheering crowd of chanting schoolboys, Trinity Grammar School was announced as the leading representative school in NSW 2014 NSW All Schools Championships. The record breaking achievements started with a massive medal haul of 18 MEDALS at the Championships with 7 new School Records being set. Coached by Olympic triple jumper, Andrew Murphy, Trinity Athletics Club won a grand total of 25 Medals in total.

Many athletes who join a club, are already interested and involved in athletics, but the Trinity program has developed athletes from scratch, some who have never been involved in track and field previously. A wide range of sporting opportunities, alongside Andrew’s sports science expertise ensures each boy develops his athletic potential in his chosen discipline.

At Trinity, Murphy has established athletic development programs based on a 'training age' rather than a chronological age.

''We want to bring a sporting institute-style program to a school environment,'' Murphy says, adding that past students have gone on to win gold and silver medals at the Commonwealth Games in track and field and gymnastics. `The structure is flexible to accommodate students’ academic commitments with their sporting endeavours.’

Trinity has rugby and cricket ovals, a sporting complex and a state-of-the-art fitness centre featuring a 60-metre indoor running track.
