QAD Australia broadens services in Qld through partnership with F5SI

Leading global manufacturing commerce solutions provider QAD today announced an exciting new partnership with Queensland IT consultancy F5 Systems Integration. Under the agreement, QAD will provide consultancy and support to all customers in Queensland, through the venture with F5SI, significantly expanding the range of services currently available to them. The new service is designed to enable manufacturers to operate more efficiently and cost effectively.
According to QAD Managing Director, Gordon Fleming, the F5SI partnership will expand on pure application consulting to deliver an integrated range of products and services to Queensland manufacturers, as well as accommodating infrastructure and technical support.
In addition to having extensive ERP experience, particularly with QAD and MFG/PRO, F5SI works with a companys entire technology, offering business consulting and technical consulting to integrate all business procedures and technologies. We have great confidence in F5SIs ability to add value to our Queensland customers and provide much more comprehensive support for them, he said.
Duncan Unwin, Principal of F5SI said that QAD customers would greatly benefit from a local, tailored, end-to-end service.
"Our focus at F5SI is to help companies identify areas of untapped potential and opportunity, delivering an end-to-end solution. F5SI focuses on the functionality gap between an organisation's business applications and actual business needs. To this end, we offer a comprehensive suite of technical services that customers can pick and choose from to meet their needs. Our tailored services range from ad hoc consulting to a managed services model," Mr Unwin said.
The core team of experienced technical consultants from QAD Qld have joined F5SI to establish an 11 strong MFG/PRO team. The transition will be seamless.
F5SI can ensure complete continuity: contact numbers will be the same, as will many of the consultants. The only differences customers will see are a broader depth of support and a true consultancy approach, said Mr Unwin.
"F5SI and QAD have entered in to a partnership that is ideal for everyone and we are very excited about this opportunity. F5SI aim to build on the current strong base of application consulting with a technology team from F5SI, that will create a single source, localised provider of information technology solutions, he said.
F5SI already service many of the current Queensland QAD customers with systems integration, information technology facilities management and network solutions.
