Top 100 trusted brands in architecture, building, construction and design sectors announced

Survey reveals what Australian’s want in a Trusted Brand

Infolink.com.au has announced the results of their Top Trusted Brands survey to reveal Australia’s best brands in the architecture, building, construction and design industries.

With 581 nominated brands and a total of 7,133 votes, Blum Australia was named the number one Top Trusted Brand for 2014.

Editor of Infolink Building Product News magazine and Infolink.com.au, David Wheeldon said, “It’s pretty clear from the survey results that when it comes to trust, service, reliability, lifetime warranty guarantee and great products take pride of place for our readers.”

Companies were competing for a place in the overall Top 10 Trusted Brands for 2014 with Blum Australia leaping into the top spot to displace the reigning number one, the ubiquitous paint supplier Dulux Australia, which takes a respectable third place, sitting behind number two, Bosch Hot Water.

It was a tight race in across the various product category breakdowns, nowhere was that more obvious than in the Bathroom and Laundries category where we had brand heavy-weights Caroma (9th place) and Dyson Appliances (7th place) battling it out for the honour's of the leading brand in the bathrooms category.

“The top 10 is obviously a very competitive space and this year we saw the likes of brands Bluescope Steel, Bradford Insulation and Hafele drop out of the top 10 in favour of newcomers Bosch Hot Water, Viridian New World Glass and 3M Architectural” Mr Wheeldon said.             

Companies offering products or services were nominated for recognition in one of 45 categories to highlight their innovation, application or quality in a particular area. The full results can be found on Infolink.com.au.

Infolink.com.au customers voted for their favourite brands by allocating a maximum of 10 votes to 10 different nominated brands between 1 September and 10 October 2014.

The top 10 winners receive a range of prizes including an award placard acknowledging their position, a showcase on Infolink’s Trusted Brands microsite, placement of the Top Trusted Brands 2014 badge on their Infolink.com.au profile, editorial coverage in Cirrus Media's portfolio of Building and Architecture publications including Infolink Building Product News magazine, Infolink.com.au and The Architect and Specifier Bulletin.
