HTC Desire 816 is a new member of company’s phablet lineup, coming with a stylish round-edge design. It sports a 5.5-inch Super LCD2 capacitive touch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, 16M colours and a 267ppi pixel density, allowing a smooth navigation across the homescreen with HTC Sense UI v5.5.
In terms of internal specs, the handset is backed by a Quad-core 1.6GHz processor installed on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 chip, which also features 1.5GB RAM and 8GB internal ROM. It operates Google’s Android OS v4.4 (KitKat) with full access to the Play Store where you can download your favourite apps, games and other utilities.
On the back side, there’s a 13-megapixel camera with interesting features including LED flash, touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection, HDR, simultaneous HD video and image recording. A 5MP front-facing cam allows you to take crystal clear selfies and make video calls with you loved ones.
