New Lifting Solution Set to Revolutionise the Mining and Construction Industries

Announcement posted by Minprovise 21 Jan 2015

WA based engineering firm, Minprovise, have joined forces with the mining and construction industries to pioneer the development of a specialised cylinder grab telehandler attachment, which is set to transform the industries.
Driven by safety and customer influences, Minprovise have been engaged to specially design the grab attachment to conform to exact industry standards for the Dieci Hercules telehandler.

Minprovise Managing Director, Graham Townsend, says this innovation will provide industry with a long-awaited solution for tackling high risk mining and construction activities.

“What we’re starting to see in the mining and construction industries now is a reduction in small working fleets of forklifts, cranes and elevated work platforms,” said Mr Townsend.

“This new Dieci Hercules telehandler and cylinder grab is capable of doing all the things a small working fleet can – so we’re certainly looking forward to taking this solution to industry.”

Known for being a forward thinking partner, Minprovise have an industry reputation for innovation with the invention of the Dugless 900 – a remote controlled mini loader for removing spillage and materials from underneath conveyor belts.

The Dugless helped them source several global awards including the prestigious Bulk Materials Handling Award from the world’s longest running global mining journal, London’s Mining Magazine and a Best Practice award in the OH&S Category in the recent Australian Bulk Handling Awards.  Adding to its swag of accolades, Minprovise were also a finalist in the Innovative Mining Solutions Category of the 6th Annual Mining Prospect Awards.

The WA based firm provide engineering and equipment solutions for virtually any industry. But the company niche, says Mr Townsend, is their commitment to ingenuity, innovation and process improvement.

“We sit down with a client and tailor-make a solution: whether it’s crushing and screening equipment, machinery for lifting and shifting, or delivering cost-effective and operationally efficient site solutions.”

To showcase the capabilities of their new Hercules telehandler range and the highly anticipated cylinder grab, Minprovise will be hosting a demo day at 10.30am on the 23rd of January at Minprovise’s Maddington workshop located at 32 Davison Street.
