Leading PNG Real Estate Website Expands by 50%

Papua New Guinea’s leading real estate website Hausple.com.pg (pidgin English for ‘house place’) has cemented its position with the acquisition of competing website PNGBUYNRENT.com. 

Since it’s launch in early 2014 Hausples has expanded rapidly adding more that 30 participating real estate agencies and 2,000+ real estate listings. “The site is going from strength-to-strength with 20,000+ Facebook followers and page views exceeding 120,000 per month” said Hausples CEO Brian Byer. The site has also attracted significant corporate advertisers with sponsorship from the Bank of South Pacific and leading insurance company Trans Pacific Assurance Limited.

Hausples has now expanded even further with the acquisition of a competing website. Brian Byer explains “It’s with great pleasure that we announce the incorporation PNGBUYNRENT.com into our business. PNGBUYNRENT was in fact Papua New Guinea’s first real estate website and it has a very loyal and engaged user base that we look forward to servicing”.

Launched in June 2013 by Lena Chapman, PNGBUYNRENT achieved a number of firsts for online real estate in PNG “Lena and her team have done an incredible job to bring real estate online and innovate with one of PNG’s first mobile optimised websites. We wholeheartedly congratulate Lena.” said Brian. 

Under Hausples ownership it’s envisaged that benefits will flow to both real estate agents and users of each site “Combined, the two sites have over 35,000 Facebook fans and over 180,000 page views a month. Moving forward, all Hausples real estate listings will appear on PNGBUYNRENT allowing our agents to tap into that massive exposure, whilst also providing a better experience for users of both sites.” said Brian. In addition, new advertising opportunities will be made available “Our aim is to further expand the audience of PNGBUYNRENT and bring that audience timely and relevant information that is related to renting or purchasing a property; corporate sponsorship is part of that process.” 

So what’s next for Hausples and its customers?
