Black Hat USA to host The Shellcode Lab and Practical Threat Intelligence from Threat Intelligence Founder, Ty Miller

The Shellcode Lab hits five year milestone for Black Hat program whilst the commercially-focused Practical Threat Intelligence Session for Threat Identification runs for second consecutive year
Sydney, 4 March 2015: Threat Intelligence, a specialist penetration testing and strategic security consultancy announces its involvement in Black Hat USA to be held in Las Vegas from 1-6 August. This year’s program will see the return for the fifth consecutive year for the more technically-focused and hands-on The Shellcode Lab while the commercially focused and highly popular, Practical Threat Intelligence session will appear for the second year, at the world’s most prestigious InfoSec convention.
Invited to present The Shellcode Lab Training days for the fifth year, The Shellcode Lab is designed for Infosec professionals interested in shellcoding, exploitation, vulnerabilities or Metasploit. Attendees will gain a thorough knowledge and practical skills on how to create shellcode for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X on both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures and how to integrate these payloads into exploits.
One of the Black Hat convention’s more popular commercially-focused programs, the Practical Threat Intelligence session will use a range of hands-on labs to build the skillset necessary to proactively identify threats against an organisation and, crucially, how to dissolve them before an attack has been launched.
