High Availability Offerings Drive Growth in Cloud Services for Cloud Plus

Announcement posted by Cloud Plus 05 Mar 2015

Cloud Plus (www.cloudplus.com), a 100% channel focused Australian provider of private cloud infrastructure, has today announced an expansion of their team to support business growth in their high availability cloud offerings.

Founded in 2010, Cloud Plus delivers wholesale enterprise-grade private cloud infrastructure and specialist technology services to IT systems integrators and managed service providers.

Jules Rumsey, Chief Executive Officer for Cloud Plus commented, “Many Australian businesses rely completely on their ERP, e-commerce and retail point of sales systems. Even small disruptions to these critical business applications can cause a major hit to customer service and the bottom line. The efficiencies and scalability of cloud based deployment models for these critical applications has led to huge demand in Australia for high availability cloud infrastructure.”

Over the last 5 years Cloud Plus has helped many of Australia’s most successful systems integrators deliver superbly reliable, high-availability cloud solutions. Cloud Plus currently delivers specialist technology services and cloud infrastructure to more than 50 Australian partners, including Thomas Duryea Consulting, Kiandra IT, Systima, Surety IT and Rivercity Solutions.

By partnering with Cloud Plus, technology companies and systems integration firms are able to rapidly deploy mission critical services and applications without needing to invest in complex cloud infrastructure and specialist support resources.

Jules Rumsey continued, “Many cloud infrastructure providers compete with their business partners. We have been able to rapidly grow our partner program and our own revenue because we are 100% channel focused. Our partners can confidently engage with us while protecting their client relationships and improving their margins.”

Cloud Plus partners have full access to the entire Cloud Plus solution suite. Partners have the option of either white-labelling Cloud Plus solutions and billing clients under their own brand, or opting to receive a recurring commission with Cloud Plus billing the end client. In both sales models the Cloud Plus partner makes the same healthy margin.

To help service recent rapid growth in its partner program and a corresponding surge in solutions sales, Cloud Plus has added two new members to their channel partner team.

Rachael O’Connor has joined Cloud Plus in the role of Channel Account Executive for Victoria. Rachael has 17 years of industry experience, previously working for AAPT, Pipe Networks, and Telecom NZ. Eugene Hodder joined the Brisbane head office team as a Channel Account Executive. Eugene previously worked at Aptus, BSI, and SAI Global.

Cloud Plus is 100% Australian owned and managed, with all client data hosted within highly secure Australian datacentres. Clients are able to connect from their premises to their hosted services via private network services on the Cloud Plus MPLS network at speeds of up to 10Gbps with security provided by an enterprise-grade managed firewall service.
