IC Central transforms into XCERIO - Digital Skills Institute in corporate rebranding

Announcement posted by XCERIO Digital Skills Institute 25 Mar 2015

A new name, tagline, and visual identity to carry the company into the future and better convey its mission of delivering digital skills across Australia.

Wednesday 25 March 2015 Brisbane - IC Central, a leading Australian digital certification provider since 2009, has today rebranded to XCERIO, meaning expertise in certification for individuals and organisations.  In addition to the new name, XCERIO’s new tagline - Digital Skills Institute - more closely reflects the focus on increasing the productivity of everyone who uses technology as a part of their school or working life.

“Our new name, tagline and visual identity more strategically aligns our organisation across the diverse range of markets we serve, and better conveys our value proposition of providing digital skills training solutions, programs and certification pathways that deliver maximised results, says JB Tinker, Chief Executive Officer of XCERIO.

“We wanted our new brand to reflect the fact that we are a “new” company, a company that is more focused on working across schools, organisations and individuals to increase the digital skills levels of Australians. The new name and focus brings a refreshed commitment to be the very best at what we do by being the trusted advisor in digital skills training.

“As new technology and uses of technology are released every day, we know that the current teaching and learning methods for digital education are struggling to keep pace”, says Tinker.“Understanding how to use the right technology in the right way, and then applying this knowledge of a tool in the right context to perform is critical to success. To achieve this, we deliver a range of internationally recognised training programs, courses, certifications and pathways for individuals and organisations who have an interest, or a need, in increasing their digital skills in order to perform,” says Mr. Tinker.

With the launch of its new brand identity, XCERIO has simultaneously launched its new website www.xcerio.com. Enhanced features include a streamlined self-serve Digital skills shopping cart with a clearer focus on delivering a range of courses, programs and self- diagnostics tools.
