Earth Hour on the Gold Coast in 2015

Amp’d Electrical and Solar are a proud Gold Coast business supporting Earth Hour for 2015. As it is such a great cause to get behind, we’d like to encourage you to do the same.

Earth Hour will take place on the 28^th of March 2015 from 8:30 to 9:30pm local time. It first launched in Sydney in 2007, with more than 2 million people and businesses partaking that year. Now, more than 162 countries get involved and embrace the campaign.

Here’s how your business can truly engage in Earth Hour.

1. Turn off your lights and add your logo to the Earth Hour Wall 
2. Promote the fact that you are going to participate in Earth Hour on your social media
3. Encourage your employees and customers to participate at home
4. Host your own Earth Hour event

In Australia, Earth Hour is something that really brings communities together, with 1 in every 3 Aussies taking part. In 2014, there were more than 7 million Aussie ‘lights out’. In 2015 we’re inviting you to once again join in the action! Let’s get these numbers up and help draw attention to global warming.
