Put on your most colourful gumboots and join us for a day of all things Truffles! Step into the gastronomic world of these ‘black gold’ nuggets. Truffles have long been held in high esteem in the gastronomic world for their flavour and scent.

Our exclusive tour starts in Port Melbourne with some essential sniff time and a chance for the pooches to introduce their hoomans. On route to Lilydale Lake, we enjoy a juice, muffin and personalised gift bag and set the scene for our Truffle Trivia.

The very stunning and dog welcoming Lilydale Lake is our first stop to stretch our legs and get some more playtime in before their very own Truffle Treasure Hunt

Yarra Valley Truffles have mocked up a Truffle Orchard at Soumah Winery so that Lani and Bear can show us what the life of a truffle dog involves. We start the Truffle Hunt with a guided session explaining the mystery behind these aromatic nuggets followed by Lani and Bear hunting down our truffle for lunch.

Now we hope all our pooches have been paying attention as it is their turn now to go on a Truffle Treasure Hunt, with a slither of truffle burying in their very own toy. Well we had to offer an incentive, after all it takes years to train as a truffle dog.

With all the hard work done, it is time to enjoy a private wine tasting and lunch at Soumah Winery. Our very talented pooches will enjoy their treasure hunt treat under cover with our dog carer.

There is plenty of time to take a stroll after lunch before we head off for a wine tasting at Maddens Rise and then a leisurely drive home.
