How an over 50’s resort on the Gold Coast is backing up its promise to provide “a better way to live.”

David Pradella, Managing Director of Seachange Village Arundel, explains the original process: “We knew we didn’t want a traditional retirement village, so we went about trying to create a lifestyle village that would be based on friendship, fitness and fun. We chose a location that would be attractive to people who wanted to truly enjoy their golden years. We made sure there was plenty of access to infrastructure and amenities. Then we tried to create a community that would be a real community, where like-minded people could make friends and enjoy an active lifestyle.”
The result is a lifestyle village that is within 10 km of a medical centre, a hospital, four golf courses, a large shopping centre and the beach. That village is built around a country club that offers indoor and outdoor sporting and exercise facilities, a library, a world class restaurant and a bar area.
