MSS Security adopts Taronga Zoo’s Asian elephants

Announcement posted by MSS Security 04 May 2015

MSS Security are excited to announce we’ve become a proud parent – of sorts – to Taronga Zoo’s Asian elephants, based now at Dubbo Western Plains Zoo.

This adoption provides the endangered Asian elephants with the support and development necessary to continue their growth, expand their enclosures, and protect this beautiful species to ensure its continued survival into the future.

This also supports Taronga Zoo in their important research and education projects across Australia aimed at conserving and protecting our planet’s animals.

“We’re really proud to be supporting these elephants and Taronga Zoo,” said General Manager Aviation, Mark Cachia. “Protection is a huge part of what we do at MSS Security, and this extends beyond our business into community projects and the environment.”

The idea for this particular adoption came from our Aviation Security team at Dubbo Airport, who work close by to the Dubbo Western Plains Zoo.

You can now find us online in the Taronga Zoo online gallery, and the Zoo Parent Honour Roll within the Taronga Zoo grounds. Our adoption certificate will also be on display in Dubbo Airport.

This adoption also aims to promote the values of MSS Security – particularly integrity, teamwork, and passion - to protect our animals for the future.
