Opening night is only a month away

The orchestra is tuned, the costumes are pressed and the crew is ready. Arts Party Qld is 4 weeks away from 

becoming the newest political party in Queensland. But this won’t happen if they don’t get the necessary 

numbers to return their letters of membership… which even once influential parties such as the Australian 

Democrats are not immune to.

After setbacks including the recent state election, where all processing was halted, Arts Party Qld continues to work passionately towards their goal of becoming a potent voice for Creative Arts, Community and Education.

“This next step is going to solidify Arts Party Queensland as a force to be reckoned with in the Queensland political landscape,’ asserted Registered Officer Di Gittins.

Letters will be sent to all Queensland members on Wednesday the 29^th of April to confirm membership numbers. To be registered a party needs over 500 confirmed members.

Di Gittins also stressed, “It’s imperative that all members return their confirmation in the reply paid envelope well before the June 1^st due date. Every single person counts! Every political party relies on people power. Our people are our power!” 

It is clear that there has been weak political representation of the artistic and creative industries. We seek bipartisan, practical, win-win outcomes for all Australians, to make us a happier, more united, more prosperous and smarter bunch of people.

It's time Queenslanders had a political party to believe in, rather than continuing to choose the 'least worst’ option at each election.
