myosh is the Major Sponsor of the National Safety Conference

Announcement posted by myosh 14 May 2015

Today, myosh is pleased to announce that it will be the major sponsor of NSCA Foundation/myosh Safety Software National Safety Conference in Sydney, Australia on 14 October, 2015 at the Shangri-La Hotel.

In the complex environments of production and technology in today’s workplace, safety needs to be an important part of the balance between profit and production. Implementing a safety management system can help with that balance so that ideally, safety becomes part of the culture of the organisation and the way people do their jobs. While a safety management system alone cannot make a company safe, it does provide an organised way of managing risk and handling compliance. When a company is safer, costs decrease due to lower medical expenses and, because fewer workers are away from the job. Production goes up as well. Worker morale improves as incidents go down and safety is prioritised. Focusing on safety is truly a win for everyone in the company, as well as the long-term sustainability of the business.

myosh recognizes the concerns of safety in the workplace and is pleased to announce its sponsorship of this safety event. This year’s conference theme will be The Challenges of Workplace Safety in the 21st Century. Many high profile keynote speakers will be addressing this topic, including: Tim Jenkins of Qantas, Ken Woodward renowned safety motivational speaker, Chi-Ming Law of the Asia Pacific Occupational Safety and Health Organisation, Dr Peggy Trompf of Industrial Health Matters, and Adrian Manessis of myosh. The conference will showcase the latest safety technologies and products from around the country and is attended by business leaders looking to make their businesses a safer place.
