Freestyle Technology signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement to engineer IoT Smart-City applications in China with Anshan Tianhui Science & Technology.

Freestyle Technology today announced the signing of a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Chinese utility engineering specialist Anshan Tianhui Science & Technology.
This long-term agreement officially establishes the parties as strategic partners in the construction of large scale smart-grids for China’s gas, water & electricity utilities as well as the development of Smart-City applications to drive safe and sustainable development of China’s urban areas.
By 2020 analysts expect China to lead the world with over 400 million smart meters deployed in residential and industrial premises.
This partnership will enable deep integration and intelligence from a utilities core distribution network out to the very edge of their customers premises. It combines Freestyle’s leading Internet of Things (IoT) Smart Utility communications, distributed applications and cloud intelligence with Anshan Tianhui’s Utilities network monitoring and metering capabilities.
As a sign of the significance of this agreement key representatives of the Anshan City Government and Gas, Water and Heating Utilities attended the ceremony to witness the signing.
Liu, Jilong, General Manager of Anshan Tianhui was looking forward to “push the process of Smart-City construction and implement cloud big data processing [analytics] to meet the needs of safety & industry.” Anshan Tianhui is already working with over 100 gas utilities across China.
