San Remo to make everyday special during Come Out Kids Festival

Announcement posted by Leverage PR 21 May 2015

For the first time, Come Out Kids Festival will see San Remo offer a series of cooking master classes for children of all ages. Children will be able to unlock their inner Master Chef by taking part in the San Remo Kids in the Kitchen cooking classes, where they will have an opportunity to explore easy-to-prepare lunch box recipes they can make at home with their parents that will make them the envy of schoolyard snack time.

San Remo Chief Marketing Officer, Mr Adam Jackson, said the Kids in the Kitchen master classes are a great way for budding junior chefs to learn useful skills in the kitchen and grow their confidence by making a number of exciting recipes, such as macaroni cheese and spaghetti pancakes.

Most parents know that meal times can either be the most satisfying or the most challenging time of the day, and San Remo wants to introduce children to the benefits and ease of using fresh ingredients, let them discover interesting ways of cooking, and make the kitchen a place where families can come together and share a love of healthy food,” Mr Jackson said.

“The Come Out Kids Festival has become an intrinsic part of growing up in SA, and is an opportunity to engage, educate and entertain the minds of young South Australians on how to cook using easy to prepare recipes and encourage them to have a passion for cooking,” Mr Jackson said.

Running over nine days, from May 22 – 30, the Come Out Festival offers children a diversity of shows, talent and interactivity, with more than two million children having participated since its inception in 1974.
