BEYOND BANK WINS TOP AWARD

Beyond Bank has been named Australia’s Mutual of the Year at a gala dinner in Sydney last night.
The Asia-Pacific Banking + Finance awards are widely regarded as the industry’s premier retail financial accolade and cap off a great year for the Beyond Bank team.
“This award is a wonderful tribute to both our staff and our customers,” said Beyond Bank CEO, Robert Keogh.
“We are very proud to be a customer-owned bank and have worked hard to ensure that our links to the local community stay strong.”
Key criteria for the award included demonstrating a sense of community while also delivering sound financials and a good range of products and services.
“In every way this is a team effort,” said Mr. Keogh.
“From senior management through to our staff helping customers in the Beyond Bank branches, we aim to do our best each and every day.”
The Mutual of the Year award follows an independent report that found in 2014, customers who banked with Beyond Bank were $31.8m better off than if they had banked with the Big Four, that’s $162 for every customer. * Canstar 2014
