Independent Book Publishers (IPPY) Awards - Bronze Medal Winner - Downsize With Style

Interior Stylist Bettina Deda is delighted that her book Downsize With Style has been honoured with a bronze medal in the 2015 Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY) National Results, Category Home & Garden. In total, 2,750 indie authors and publishers participated in this year’s contest. 273 medalists, coming from 45 US states, six Canadian provinces, and ten countries overseas, were chosen in the 78 National categories.

Downsize with Style is the first practical style guide helping empty nesters reduce stress while downsizing, get rid of all their excess clutter and stuff, and prioritise what to keep in a smaller home or apartment. Bettina Deda is an Interior Stylist, Colour Consultant, Design Writer, Author and Speaker living on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. In 2014, she published Downsize With Style and launched the correspondent podcast show. As a born organiser, she also published an eBook on DIY Decorating. Through her business Bettina Deda colour design, the books and podcast, her interior decorating e-course HomeStyling101 and her passion for colour and interiors she hopes to make a difference to the growing number of apartment downsizers.

The IPPY Awards, launched in 1996 by the Independent Publisher, recognise books published by independent authors and publishers. Established as the first awards program open exclusively to independent authors and publishers, over 3,000 IPPY’s have been awarded to
