Sydney, Australia— 30 June, 2015 —hybris software, an SAP company, today announced it has been named a Leader in B2B commerce suites in Forrester Research, Inc.’s report entitled: “The Forrester Wave™: B2B Commerce Suites, Q2 2015”, dated 26 June 2015.

“Digital disruption and the move online is affecting all companies, regardless of industry or size,” said Brian Walker, Chief Strategy Officer, hybris and SAP Customer Engagement and Commerce. “Today it is imperative for companies to offer an exceptional commerce experience for their customers across the web, mobile and of course consistent with all their customer touchpoints. We are very proud at hybris to see how this most recent report from Forrester according to us validates our capability to help B2B customers adopt innovative strategies to meet their buyers’ evolving expectations.”

According to the Forrester B2B Commerce Suites Wave report, hybris has “made significant R&D investments over the past two years in B2B features including integration with SAP’s CPQ tools, the development of DataHub (an integration and data exchange tool that provides robust integration with SAP’s ERP), a focus on account and organisation hierarchies, and an all new responsive-enabled B2B reference store.”

The report also states that “B2B prospects continue to be attracted to hybris for six key reasons: 1) the modern Java-based architecture; 2) the embedded enterprise product content management (PCM) capabilities; 3) the flexibility of the platform framework to solve bespoke business scenarios; 4) the reference integration framework with SAP’s ERP and CPQ offerings; 5) the robust partner ecosystem and 6) hybris’ pedigree in core commerce capabilities and associated customer engagement and marketing solutions.”

Additionally, the report states: “US B2B eCommerce is on pace to reach $1.113 trillion by the year 2020. However, despite the fact that the B2B market is twice the size of B2C and growing rapidly, B2B companies still lag far behind their B2C brethren in terms of the level of digital maturity and the quality of the customer experience they offer. In addition, many B2B companies must contend with new and unexpected competition within and outside of their traditional industry. “

hybris received the highest scores in the strategy and market presence categories in the report which assessed eight B2B commerce suite vendors on the ability to demonstrate the following:

·      A product that supports complex B2B selling channels

·      A significant track record in supporting B2B commerce at large companies

·      Native products or partnerships in support of Forrester’s definition of a “commerce suite”

·      A profitable or stable business with at least $10 million in revenues and client momentum

·      Mindshare among the Forrester client base
