Certus Appoints Trevor Janes as new Chair

Certus Solutions, a leading IBM systems integrator in Australia and New Zealand today announced the appointment of iconic New Zealand businessman, Trevor Janes as its new Chair. 

Trevor’s new role is key to the company’s ambitious growth strategy for the next five years, consolidating on the current strong position as the leading systems integrator for IBM technology in the region.

Trevor brings extensive leadership and planning experience gained across a number of companies and industries in New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom. He has an impressive track record of growing companies to a significant level and navigating them through various obstacles to achieve key growth and transformation related goals.

He currently holds a number of board positions including Accident Compensation Corporation, Abano Healthcare Ltd, Pulse Energy Ltd and ProCare Health Ltd. He is also a Member of the NZ Markets Disciplinary Tribunal, the NZ Post Network Access Committee, and the International Development Advisory and Selection Panel for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

An investment banker and financial analyst by trade, Trevor is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Professionals New Zealand Inc., and previously was a Fellow and past Chair of the New Zealand Society of Investment Analysts. He is also a Member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute (USA), an affiliate of the United Kingdom Society of Investment Professionals and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
