LCI Education Network - Announcement

MELBOURNE, 21 July 2015

The Academy of Design Australia is pleased to announce its partnership with the LCI Education network which now boasts 22 campuses across 5 continents. The association will offer Academy students and staff all the benefit of access to a large international network whilst maintaining the existing benefits of small class sizes, more personalised tuition and access to a supportive and creative global community.

"I am pleased to see the Academy join the extended LCI Education network family today. We look forward to working together to further establish the Academy of Design Australia as one of the most prestigious design institutions in Australia," said Academy Founder and Dean, Dr Robert Treseder.

The Academy will unite with the LCI Education network in their mission to connect people to opportunity through quality education. It is envisioned that these opportunities will enrich students learning, provide additional personal growth, and help them achieve a competitive edge and job readiness. All of this is expected to result in an even more satisfied student cohort. In figures published last year the Academy was ranked number 1 by the independent Australian Graduate Survey in the category of overall course satisfaction, outperforming every Victorian university offering a bachelor degree in the field of Visual/Performing Arts.

"We are very pleased to welcome the Academy of Design Australia to our extended family. For several years now, the LCI Education network team has been working hard to strengthen our presence in the Asia-Pacific market. After Montreal, Bogota and Barcelona, Melbourne is a natural destination for the network, not only for geographic reasons but also for its innovative and creative qualities and values that we share," adds Claude Marchand, President & CEO of the LCI Education Network.
