Silver Chef launches new website, solving a common business problem

Announcement posted by Silver Chef Australia 24 Aug 2015

Silver Chef, a hospitality equipment funder, has launched a new website to help Australian businesses avoid one of the biggest challenges almost every start-up faces- running out of cash too fast.

Speaking of the recent relaunch of the Silver Chef Australia website, Silver Chef Founder and Executive Chairman, Allan English said “we’ve been helping hospitality customers start up their business for 30 years now, by taking care of one of the biggest capital expenses for them – the equipment.”

“It’s tough out there and businesses are finding it harder to pay up front for equipment, which is why we designed a finance solution that would allow businesses to secure the equipment they need without the financial risk.”

Mr English added that having helped over 25,000 hospitality customers start up their businesses, Silver Chef understands the needfor cafes and restaurant owners to have the flexibility to adapt over time which is why an education focus has been integrated into the new website to help customers understand the challenges they will face and how they might overcome them.

Customers have access to a range of free downloadable business tools such as e-books and Silver Chef’s annual Hospitality Industry Trent Report(HISI)  to ensure they are staying on top of industry trends and adapting to changing market conditions.

“The website is all about explaining to hospitality businesses, from start-ups to established ones, how we can help them finance their equipment without getting stuck with it if it’s not quite right,” he said.

“It explains how we can help reduce their risk of opening their café or restaurant because they don’t have to outlay large upfront costs to get the equipment they need.”

The new website design prominently features a rental calculator on the homepage which allows visitors to quickly work out how affordable it is to fit out their café or restaurant by renting the equipment through Silver Chef.

“With the need for websites to be mobile-friendly and understanding how busy our customers are, we wanted to ensure our website was easy to use on all devices and that visitors could quickly find the answers to their questions when they got there,” he said.
