This affordable door-to-door social transport service is available for seniors living in the Hervey Bay and Maryborough region. To book these trips you must be over 65 (or 50 and an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander) and eligible for HACC-funded services.
Trips include:
• Cruise the Burrum River
o Cost: $36 includes transport, river cruise and morning tea
o Date: 18 and 28 September.
• Explore Howard Township
o Cost: $25 includes transport, guided tours of Burrum District Museum, Van Cootens Drapery and Devonshire tea at Brooklyn House
o Date: 17 September.
• Mornings with Mary
o Cost: $30 includes transport, guided Mary Poppins tour and morning tea
o Date: 11 and 25 September.
• A day in Hervey Bay
o Cost: $16 includes transport, guided tour of the Fraser Coast Discovery Sphere, afternoon tea and live music at the Hervey Bay Regional Gallery
o Date: 30 September.
• Maryborough Heritage City Market
o Cost: $12 includes transport, markets and Mary Ann steam engine trip
o Date: 24 September.
• The Portside Portal
o Cost: $19.50 includes transport and three guided Museum tours
o Date: 15 and 23 September.
