Announcement posted by Switch Automation 24 Sep 2015

Sydney, Australia, September 24, 2015:  Switch Automation, a cloud-based building management platform, appointed Christina Hughes to National Accounts Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Hughes, a well-respected professional in the Australian sustainability community, joins Switch with more than 10 years of experience across the commercial, industrial and retail property sectors. From energy audits to strategic green building design and operations; carbon reporting to running Smart City initiatives like CitySwitch in Australia, Christina brings a wealth of diverse expertise to the growing team.

“This year we hired several senior client-facing staff in both the US and Australia. The fact that talented professionals with highly-tuned market insight elect to join Switch speaks volumes about our platform, team and future. Christina’s deep knowledge of the Australian reporting for NABERS[1], NGERS[2] and Green Star[3], as well as public sustainability benchmarks such as GRESB[4], DJSI[5] and CDP[6] is monumental for Switch. We could not be more delighted to attract someone of Christina’s calibre to our team,” said Deb Noller, CEO of Switch Automation.

Hughes will lead Switch Automation’s Account Management team in Australia and New Zealand, building new relationships and managing existing accounts with large, portfolio customers. She will bring her expertise to bear in existing Smart City projects in Seattle, US and Wellington, NZ.

"Christina Hughes is one of those rare people who thinks strategically and implements accurately. She has excellent client skills and demonstrates that Switch continues to be a force to be reckoned with," said Amanda Steele, Senior Managing Director, Asset Services, at CBRE, a global leader in real estate services.
