SuperPups Take To the Stage!

Have you ever seen a puppy unload the washing machine? Or press the button at the pedestrian crossing?

That’s exactly what the SuperPups from Assistance Dogs Australia will be demonstrating on stage next Thursday in Martin Place.

Launching Dogtober – the annual awareness month for Assistance Dogs Australia- alongside the puppies, will be detainees from a local Juvenile Justice Centre who are part of the Pups in Prison program and a client who has received an Assistance Dog.

The puppies will take to the stage at 12.30pm, on Thursday 1st October 2015, in Martin Place.

Media are welcome to attend, and an Assistance Dog spokesperson or client are available for interview from 8am. 


Assistance Dogs Australia: Founded in 1996, Assistance Dogs Australia is a national charity which trains Labradors and Golden Retrievers to help people in need, providing them with greater freedom and independence. Dogs are placed free of charge, to a wide range of clients, including families with autism, people living with post-traumatic stress and people with physical disabilities. It costs in excess of $27,000 to train and place a dog, and Assistance Dogs Australia receives no government funding.
