BMC Software's PATROL Storage Management Suite Aligns With StorageTek's Disk Storage Systems
Customers of StorageTek's D-Series and BladeStore disk systems already enjoy the benefits of advanced, high performance and high capacity disk-based storage technology. Now they can reap the benefit of greater enterprise management capabilities.
StorageTek, the storage services and solutions expert, and BMC Software, Inc. (NYSE: BMC), a leader in enterprise management, today announced that BMC Software's PATROL Storage Management Suite works with StorageTek's advanced D-Series disk product family and BladeStore inline storage subsystem. This support ensures that StorageTek D-Series and BladeStore customers can leverage BMC Software's powerful storage management solution to achieve economical administration functionality and consolidation, storage capacity utilisation and performance optimisation.
