Sathes Kumar, who works in the tech sector in Chennai, India wanted to give people a real solution in gaining financial rewards with the Bitcoin. After realizing the high cost for computer hardware to profitably mine Bitcoin, Kumar, and a friend devised a plan to purchase high-end hardware to maximize the return on investment.

Bitcoin miners use special software to solve math problems and are issued a certain number of bitcoins in exchange. As time has passed, the problems required to mine Bitcoin have become more difficult and required more processing power. That leaves everyday users without many options if they want to mine Bitcoin. Inexpensive mining setups don’t offer much return on investment, and high-end mining setups can be prohibitively expensive.

BITMIN’s idea is somewhat different: the founders are using crowdfunding, in conjunction with their own investment, to raise the money for an extremely powerful mining setup.
