Announcement posted by Gourmet Pawprints - Dog Friendly Experiences 15 Oct 2015

NEW Dandenong Ranges Doggy Winery Tours start in Summer

Join us for a day of food, wine and walks with your dog in the historic and lush surrounds of the Dandenong Ranges on our new Doggy Winery Tour. Lunch is at the iconic Burnham Beeches Estate, the latest culinary creation by acclaimed celebrity chef, Shannon Bennett.

Our dog welcoming bus – Bella will chauffeur you from Port Melbourne to the Dandenongs, return, so all you have to do is put your paws up and enjoy this fun and unique experience.

Come and sip your way through wine tastings at 2 local vineyards, where the pooches will get to stretch their legs and explore.

A stroll around the picturesque Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens in Sherbrooke is a must when coming to the Dandenongs. The intertwining paths weave their way down through Mountain Ash Trees to the picturesque lake.

With little paws ready for some snoozing time,  our dedicated dog carers will ensure all pooches are pampered, patted and preened in their own special area while the hoomans take in lunch.

A 3-course, local produce inspired menu with wine, awaits us at Burnham Beeches’ cafe which boasts views across this amazing property of over 22 hectares of rolling rural landscape, no need to tell you to sit back and relax, it will happen without thinking.

There is so much to explore in the stunning surroundings of the Burnham Beeches Estate. The original mansion was built in 1933 and today the Estate boasts a truffle orchard, lawn bowls, croquet pitch, vegetable gardens, a fabulous bakery which supplies the entire Vue Group stable of restaurants and all surrounded by historic gardens.
