Announcement posted by Wolf Interactive 15 Oct 2015
Wolf Interactive have been selected as a finalist in the 2015 Premier’s Design Award, in the Digital Design Category. The Whitehouse Institute of Design website that Wolf designed, developed and launched on the 28th of May this year was nominated, then selected as a finalist.
Wolf created a sophisticated, responsive design with a black backdrop to give a sense of prestige and emphasise the content within. Whitehouse’s wealth of great content informed a set of custom modules and layouts, including a student and alumni showcase, an interactive history timeline, events calendar and social media wall.
Significant emphasis went into the course structuring. Wolf went for a hamburger menu, a popular UX device, ideal for mobile users, which integrates with the Hobson’s CRM.
Other deliverables included Staff and Student Portals - practical tools accessible via the Whitehouse website and editable via a centralised CMS developed by the Wolf team.
Wolf Interactive Director Stuart Gonsal was pleased to be selected as a finalist, “We are delighted to be selected as a finalist, we feel it's a reflection of the site's success.”
He also said, “Whitehouse gave our team fabulous source materials and creative freedom with the project. They were very trusting, and it's reflected in the result.”
The Premier’s Design Awards Best in Category Winners and Overall Winner will be announced at the Premier’s Design Awards Presentation Ceremony in early December in front of industry and members of Government.
