PANDORA Jewelry has announced it will launch a Disney jewellery collection into Australia and New Zealand on 12 November 2015.

PANDORA Jewelry has announced it will launch a Disney jewellery collection into Australia and New Zealand on 12 November 2015.

The initial collection features the iconic Disney’s Minnie & Mickey Mouse characters, with hand-finished sterling silver and cubic zirconia charms inspired by the iconic silhouettes, patterns and colours of Disney’s most iconic couple.

The launch also brings the enchanting fairy tale story of Disney’s Cinderella to life with charms highlighting her stunning ball gown, enchanted pumpkin coach and sparkling glass slipper, as illustrated in the classic 1950’s animated film.

The initial launch of the co-branded collection will include 28 pieces, which will be sold in PANDORA Concept Stores throughout Australia and New Zealand as well as through PANDORA’s new Online Store: estore-au.pandora.net

Until now, PANDORA’s strategic alliance with The Walt Disney Company (Disney) was exclusive to North America.

The extension of the alliance will begin in November 2015 and include 13 markets in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand, China and Japan.

“We are delighted that PANDORA and Disney have agreed to expand their strategic alliance,” said Brien Winther, President of PANDORA, Australia and New Zealand.

“With the success of the collection in North America, we are confident that customers will embrace this new collection with open arms. The product is truly beautiful and we cannot wait to launch,” said Winther.

In August 2014, PANDORA and Disney entered into a strategic alliance to create an original PANDORA collection of Disney-themed jewellery, to be sold in Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort as well as in PANDORA stores throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Central America and the Caribbean.

CEO of PANDORA, Anders Colding Friis said that Disney has been received well by consumers.

“The reception of the PANDORA Disney collection in North America has been amazing. We believe that the collection will fit well with the population in Asia and Australia, and look forward to offer our Disney inspired products to our customers in the region.”
