The Australian School of Performing Arts, Film and Television’s (ASPA-FTV) Music: A Muse to Seek on sale now at QPAC

Leading performing arts and film production school across South East Queensland, ASPA-FTV present their end of year production Music: A Muse to Seek in the Cremorne Theatre, QPAC on December 12th - Tickets are now on sale and can be booked through: www.qpac.com.au or by phoning 136 246. 

Music - It makes us dance all night, weep till dawn and sing like it’s our last breath. What is it about music that is so universally appealing? Researching the theme for Music: A Muse to Seek, ASPA-FTV Artistic Director Amanda Hardwick said “We’ve all had the experience when a familiar song comes on the radio, and suddenly all our senses are alive in memory. Good or bad, ugly or sad, beautiful or healing – music - however you hear or feel it, will always remind us of our yesterdays.” 

With a focus on ‘learning through doing’ ASPA-FTV aim to continually implement the highest standards of teaching and performances. The end of year production at QPAC is a prime showcase of the hard work and commitment of ASPA-FTV students throughout the year. With this years theme beingMusic: A Muse to Seek, the show will be made up of three original plays performed by the students of ASPA- FTV’s Creative Theatre Production course. With the direction of their course teacher, the students worked together to help conceive, write and stage an original play. The students have worked feverishly over the last twelve months and are excited to show off their hard work cultivating in a live performance at QPAC on the 12th December.
