Top 20 Artisan Christmas Gift Ideas As Nominated By The Sisters' Market Sisters

Announcement posted by Greta Donaldson Publicity 30 Nov 2015

The final Sisters’ Market for the year, promises to deliver hundreds of unique Christmas gifts with the sisters Marianna Gentilin and Roberta Lamberti, calling on this year’s best artists and innovators to participate in their Christmas Extravaganza.

The siblings have helped launch the careers of countless local artisans, to the benefit of discerning Melbourne shoppers keen to snare original goods in a setting that would not be out of place in London, New York, or Paris.

The sisters enjoy travelling and exploring different cultures, which has awaken their interest in collecting items with a unique flare, they are upfront about being shopaholics at heart (and can’t help themselves at this time of year).

In keeping with the spirit of Christmas this festive season, carolers, local street and emerging artists including singer, songwriter and Swanston Street busker Josh Romig will transform the market into a blissfully festive experience.

Mouth-watering food vendors Smooth as Fruit (100% fruit sorbet), Okay Kaya (a delicious Malaysian jam made with coconut, eggs and caramel),and Beurre Cakes and Pastries, “who bake cakes better than nanna ever could, create killer pastries and dream of a world where sugar and butter form the base of the food pyramid” - will serve tasty Christmas flavoured morsels throughout the day.

Alongside the musicians and food vendors the Sisters’ Market will feature up to 70 stalls, with items ranging from clothing, homewares, bags to artwork, stationery, books, body products and vintage posters.
