BANKING ON YOUR SUPPORT THIS CHRISTMAS

Announcement posted by Beyond Bank Australia 01 Dec 2015

1 December 2015
Beyond Bank Australia is urging the Hunter Valley community to dig a little deeper this Christmas to support Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) Hunter.

A donation as small as $2 can be made at any Beyond Bank branch and it’s as simple as grabbing a gift tag from our instore Christmas trees.

The Give a Gift Donation Campaign kicks off next week and will run through to New Year’s Eve with all proceeds going to RIDBC Hunter.

“Giving back to the community is at the heart of everything we do at Beyond Bank,” said Ray O’Brien, the Bank’s General Manager of Distribution.

“At this time of year, when we really focus on the joy of giving, we are delighted to be able to partner with RIDBC Hunter and the outstanding support it provides to children and adults with vision or hearing loss.”

One in 1000 children are born with hearing loss in Australia and vision impairment affects more than 1 in 2,500 children in Australia each year.

RIDBC Hunter provides quality and innovative education, therapy and cochlear implant services to children and adults with vision or hearing loss.

“As a charity, RIDBC Hunter relies greatly on support from the community to continue to deliver our life changing programs,” said RIDBC Hunter Community Relationships Executive, Kim Simpson.

“The support we receive from corporate fundraisers, such as Beyond Bank, is truly fantastic. Their generosity will go a long way this festive season in assisting RIDBC to continue to provide innovative therapy and education services to children and adults living with vision or hearing loss, and their families, in the Hunter.”
