Teknowledge Software Creates A Splash With Winter Offsite Picnic

Teknowledge Software, a multinational mobile app development agency, organized a one-day picnic tour this Sunday. All the employees, including the executives from the managerial level, joined in - and the event turned out to be a grand success.

Speaking on behalf of Teknowledge, CEO Hussain Fakhruddin expressed his belief that such offsite tours served as great opportunities to lift employee morale, as well as double up as good ice-breaking sessions. The first of these offsite picnics was held way back in 2009, he recounted - and since then, such outings are organized thrice every year. The mobile app entrepreneur himself takes on the responsibility of ensuring that every employee participates in these outings.

This year, there was a slightly different feel about the company’s offsite tour though. For one thing, this was the very first time Teks Mobile had booked an entire luxury holiday resort for its corporate picnic, for the whole day. The other reason was even more interesting. It was the birthday of Mr. Fakhruddin on Sunday, and the Teks team of Android and iPhone app developers, graphics and animation experts, and other executives had planned to surprise their CEO during the tour. In the current age of breakneck professionalism, it is indeed heartwarming to see employees taking out time to plan something nice for their boss.

With a smile in his voice, Mr. Fakhruddin spoke about his surprise at being handed the host of birthday gifts at the picnic resort. The wishes from his colleagues had started to pour in from midnight - in the official WhatsApp group of the company. While the CEO of the mobile app company had foreseen this, he admitted that he had no idea that his team had planned such a pleasant surprise on his special day. The man was visibly delighted, and he had every reason to be so.

Much like the type of apps that Teknowledge makes, there was a touch of novelty in the birthday card that the Teks team handed over to Mr. Fakhruddin. It had pictures of each employee - caricatured into funny avatars (done with the help of one of the company’s own emoji apps), with wishes written in speech bubbles next to them. The pride in the voice of the Teknowledge CEO was discernible when he said that his team never gives him mere gifts - they always come up with unique memorabilia. It’s not for nothing that Mr. Fakhruddin often refers to his company as ‘my Teks family’.

From good food and great music, to splashing about in the resort pool and general fun & frolic - this corporate picnic had everything. Apart from Mr. Fakhruddin, three other employees of Teknowledge celebrated their birthdays in November - and they were roasted by the fun-loving CEO, much to the amusement of the others. There was no shortage of cuteness either - thanks to the presence of the cherubic baby girl of Mr. Fakhruddin. Several others brought along their wives and other relatives in tow. Activities like tug-of-war added to the fun element of the occasion, and there was some hearty dancing too...in the bus that had been hired for the tour!

During the offsite tour, it was also announced that the portfolio of Teknowledge Mobile Studio had touched 1000. In a short yet moving speech, Mr. Fakhruddin recounted the early days of the mobile app development company, and its journey towards becoming one of the best app agencies in the world.

The efficiency with which the entire picnic tour was arranged warrants a special mention too. From the initial meetup in the morning, to travel and accommodation, fund-collection, arrangement and handover of gifts to the CEO, fooding and the fun activities - everything was organized with sincerity and a lot of professionalism.
